| Children had a wonderful time at Art Camp! Projects during the week included dyeing fibers with vegetables, learning to spin, creating individual and group weaving projects, creating mud paintings from clays they collected, printing cards with leaves and other items from nature, writing a story, spending time with Peter the rabbit and the Chic-Fil-A cow, and putting on an original play about all the themes of the week entitled "A Great Day for a Picnic". Families attended an art show and the play on Thursday, then were invited to a morning's visit and a picnic on a local alpaca farm on Friday. You can see the children's artwork on display at Trillium Arts through July 4th. Special thanks to: TR High School Chic-Fil-A Wal Mart Kutzner Chiropractic Cleveland Park Animal Hospital |
